I thought maybe it would be better to consider the fabric first, since I'm sewing from stash, then pick the style for the fabric selected. Considering how much I like black, there is very little of it in my stash, I suppose it's because, it's not as exciting as a lighter color, or because shopping online for black fabric doesn't inspire me.
